MOTOCROSS ACTION MID-WEEK REPORT
#WHIPITWEDNESDAY
Rider: Jeff Emig
Jeff was one of the top American motocross racers of the 1990s. In 1996 he won 17 of the 26 motos to claim the 250 National Motocross Championship as well as the 1997 AMA Supercross title. Here, Jeff racing at the 1996 Motocross des Nations, where Jeff along with Jeremy Mcgrath and Steve Lamson Team USA took home the gold. Jeff is still heavily involved in the industry and can still be seen testing bikes and racing two-strokes.
WIDE LINE IN DUBAI
This past weekend World Supercross made its return to racing on a very tight and moderately technical track in Dubai. The tight conditions made for some intense racing. Fast all weekend was Dean Wilson who was able to put himself on the top of the podium from timed qualifying. When the motos came around Vince Friese was quick to put himself in front of the pack and maintained good starts all evening. In typical Friese style, Vince was in a win-at-all-costs mentality and was willing to do anything to make that possible. He did prove successful as he was able to get a win by taking out both Dean Wilson and Joey Savatgy in the process. Rubbing is racing and on a tight track like in Dubai, with a rider like Friese contact was bound to happen. As for cutting the track, we’re not too sure about that.

With the conclusion of the World Vet Championship this past weekend we highlight the winners from this year. One of the most action-packed weekends of the year, racers from all over the world come to compete.
