MXA PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT: THE VERSATILE, EXPANDABLE HITCH HOTEL

The Hitch Hotel can be towed by any size car or truck and has an incredibly small footprint as it goes down the road.

Have you ever thought about getting an RV, but the cost, size, maintenance, fuel consumption and parking issues of a full-size RV have deterred you from making such a large investment. What are the alternatives? You could pitch a tent, tow a travel trailer, sleep in your van, but those have their limitations.

When you get to your camping spot or place in the pits,  the Hitch Hotel expands like an accordion so you can  have a comfy place to hang out, change clothes or sleep

Which is where Geoff Patterson, a long-time motocross racer and industry regular, came up with the idea of the Hitch Hotel. It is a small, towable, stow-able, retractable, lockable, weather-resistant, sleep trailer that doubles as on-the-road storage. Think of the Hitch Hotel as a go-anywhere hotel room that expands from an impossibly small footprint to a roomy 7-foot camper that comfortably sleeps two adults off the ground.

Once in place it can be detached and expanded from your trailer hitch and is supported by its two wheels and adjustable support struts front and rear.

The Hitch Hotel  takes up less that less than 3.5 feet of space, expands out of 7 feet of interior room, can be opened and expand in minutes, is lockable (from the outside and the inside), weighs less than 1000 pounds and sleeps two people inside (off of the ground).
