The Factory Rockstar Husqvarna 450 team has had a rough start to the 2018 outdoor National season. Both of their Factory Husqvarna riders, Dean Wilson and Jason Anderson got injured will practicing at Glen Helen. Dean’s crash was before the 2018 National season even started, while Jason’s incident was the Thursday before the Thunder Valley National in Colorado. With both riders out, the team left the semi at home base. They needed to find a rider to fill the void in the 450 Husky semi. That rider is the long time JGR rider, Phil Nicoletti.

The Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory racing announced that Phil Nicoletti will be filling in aboard the FC450 Rockstar Edition, for the remainder of the 2018 Pro Motocross season. Nicoletti comes to the team with thirty top-ten finishes in his Pro Motocross racing career.
