As such, Leatt is implementing the Helmet Replacement Program which assists riders by offering a significant discount on a replacement helmet purchase.

Owners of a damaged Leatt helmet can simply visit www.leatt.com/helmet-replacement-program and read through the step-by-step instructions. MXA COVER OF THE WEEK: THE 1993 MXA 250 SHOOTOUT & MITCH PAYTON’S BIKE OF THE FUTURE

The April 1993 cover featured Pro Circuit’s Hot Wheels/Splitfire/Kawasaki KX125 with full bodywork. Mitch Payton, who was the master of finding outside sponsors for his team—most notably the blue and white Team Peak Honda’s, believed that it was hard for a team to get big name sponsors because motoctoss bikes didn’t offer large enough signage space for their logos. He hoped to solve that with a  bike that looked like this for the 1994 season. The bodyworks was made by Dave Miller and Mitch like it, Hot Wheels liked it and Splitfire liked it, but it never got used because Kawasaki didn’t like it

The 1993 MXA 250 Shootout also appeared in the April ’93 issue. Who On? The 1993 Honda won almost every performance category (power, brakes, handling, clutch, ergo ), only losing big time in the fork category. But the forks could be fixed and this wad the bike to race in 1993.
