SEAN HAMBLIN TO RACE IN EUROPE ON RM-Z250S

According to sources in England, Sean Hamblin has signed to ride for the new Suzuki Swift Team in the FIM 250F (MX1) World Championship and British Championships. Hamblin will team with British rider Elliott Banks-Browne.

“We are delighted to announce the all-new Suzuki Swift Motocross Team,” declared Suzuki GB’s marketing manager Paul de Lusignan. “Aside from the backing of our car and motorcycle divisions, the new team have a great deal of experience behind the scenes, and I am sure they will do Suzuki proud at home and abroad next season”.

The team will be managed by ex-British champion Jonathon Wright.

Hamblin rose to a small degree of fame when Roger DeCoster picked him up from the local ranks several years ago to join Team Suzuki. Sean did so well as a Suzuki fill-in that he got a factory ride, but over the last few years Hamblin has struggled. Europe is a fresh chance for Hamblin to make a comeback.
