THE SPANISH MOTOCROSS DES NATIONS TEAM HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED FOR LAKEWOOD:

The riders who will represent Spain in the 64th edition of the Motocross of Nations on September 26th will be Jonathan Barragan, Jose Butron and Carlos Campano. Spain was 12th overall in 2009 in Franciacorta, Italy.

This will be Barragan’s will be his sixth MXDN. Jose Butron is 19-years-old and is currently 26th in the 250 World Championships (having missed four GPs with an injury). He will ride the 250 class because he is under 23 years old. Carlos Campano is currently leading the MX3 World Championship. The best result ever by Spain in the MXDN was a fourth in the 2002 Motocross of Nations (held in Spain). They were sixth at Budds Creek in 2007.
