THIS WEEK IN MXA: ELI TOMAC’S LONGTIME MECHANIC TALKS CANCER BATTLE

This Week in MXA, episode 209, presented by O’Neal, comes from our day at Glen Helen with Kawasaki testing the 2025 Kawasaki KX450SR. Brian Kranz was Eli Tomac’s for 11 seasons, wrenching for Eli while he was at Geico Honda and then Kawasaki. However, when Eli moved to Yamaha, Brian decided to stay with Kawasaki, and before, his life flipped upside down when he was diagnosed with cancer. Thankfully, Brian is in full remission, and we caught up with him for a quick chat to see how he’s doing now.
