“THIS WEEK IN MXA” WITH JOSH MOSIMAN: WHAT HAPPENS TO MOTOCROSS ON TV WHEN NBC SPORTS SHUTS DOWN NEXT YEAR?

The second motos from the Fox Raceway National were supposed to air LIVE on the NBC Sports Network, but instead a playoff hockey game pushed back the second motos until later in the evening. We know there’s a lot that goes into broadcasting our sport on television and the digital landscape is changing with the Peacock Premium streaming service coming into play as well. In Episode 24 of “This Week in MXA”, presented by O’Neal Racing, we talk with MX Sports Davey Coombs to get the scoop on the Pro Motocross TV program and learn about the challenge that they’re facing for 2022 as the NBC Sport Netwok channel is going away and all of their shows are either switching to other networks (example NHL Hockey is going to ESPN) or they’re moving over to NBC’s online streaming service, Peacock.

Additionally, we hear Ken Roczen and Adam Cianciarulo talk in the post race press conference after placing first and third at the Thunder Valley National, and touch on some of the highlights from Round 2 of the Nationals.
