Marvin Musquin

Marvin Musquin set the world on fire in 2009 when he was the surprise winner of the 250 World Championship. Marv backed in up 2010 and then set his sights on America. Roger DeCoster wanted to pair Musquin and Ken Roczen together in the 250 East/West series. It worked, as German Ken Roczen earned KTM the 250 West crown in 2013, followed by the 2014 450 National Championship. Frenchman Musquin took the 250 East title in 2015 and moved to the 450 class in 2016. With the retirement of seven-time champ Ryan Dungey at mid-season of the 2017 year, Marvin became the the team leader at Red Bull KTM.

In 2019 he is joined by Cooper Webb on the orange team. In a surprise, it wasn’t Marvin who was the head man on the orange squad, as Webb won the 2019 AMA Supercross Championship. As the 2020 Supercross season approached Marvin hurt his knee in December and had to undergo ACL surgery. He came back in the 2021 season and rode very well as his knee got stronger—winning the penultimate Supercross in Salt Lake City in 2021. Although his contract was up for 2022, KTM signed him to a Supercross-only deal—and although he struggled with injuries, KTM signed him to another Supercross deal for 2023.
