WATCH CHASE SEXTON WRAP UP THE 2024 450 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN UNDER 10 MINUTES

Thanks to his six straight 450 National wins in a row, Chase Sexton won his first-ever AMA National Motocross Championship to go with his 2023 AMA 450 Supercross Championship and his back-to-back AMA 250 East Supercross Championships (2019-2020). In the 2024 title chase, Sexton defeated Hunter Lawrence by 42 points with KTM teammate Aaron Plessinger securing third in the 450 Championship. Fellow KTM teammate Tom Vialle won the Ironman Raceway 250 class with a 1-4 in front of Chance Hymas (6-2) and R.J. Hampshire (4-3). Haiden Deegan, who clinched the 2024 AMA 250 National Champion at round 10, was fourth overall with an 11-1.

Eli Tomac finished a strong third in only his second 450 National this year, but RAcer X reports that Eli doesn’t want to  join Team USA at the upcoming Motocross des Nations in England on October 7.

Ken Roczen’s return to the 250 class, for a one-time-only race appearance, went 9-12 for ninth overall. Ken ran in the top five in both moto, but faded as the motos wore on. Either way, Roczen guest appearance was a big hit with the fans, who cheered for him every time he raced by on the track.
