KEN ROCZEN IN FOR HIGH POINT

If you’ve been watching the Pro Motocross season so far, you have may noticed Jett Lawrence absolutely decimating the 450 field. With the incredible amount of riders sidelined due to injuries and other obligations, we’re excited to announce that a handful will be returning to the races this weekend Ken Roczen and Phil Nicoletti will be making their return at Mt. Morris. Phil will stay in for the rest of the season, we can’t say the same for Ken Roczen (above) as he’ll most likely go right back to WSX training.

INJURY REPORT (IT WOULD BE EASIER TO LIST WHO ISN’T ON IT)

ELI TOMAC – ACHILLES TENDON

Eli Tomac 2023 Denver SupercrossEli Tomac hyper-extended his ankle while leading the 450 Main Event at Denver and ruptured his Achilles tendon, putting him out for the entire season. As of now, Eli doesn’t know if he will retire or come back to race in 2024. We hope to see him back on the track again next year.

JUSTIN BARCIA – COLLARBONE, SHOULDER, RIBS

It seemed like everything was coming together for Justin Barcia after winning the East Rutherford mudder. Unfortunately, the dragon’s back struck back as Justin went over the bars and slammed into the ground at Nashville. He broke his collarbone, shoulder blade, and two ribs.

GUILLEM FARRES – BROKEN ARM

Guillem suffered a gnarly broken arm at Thunder Valley at the start of the first 250 moto.  He made this post via Instagram: “As some of you know last weekend I was involved on a big first turn pile up which resulted in a broken arm. I got surgery last Sunday in Colorado to get it all fixed, I want to thank everyone at @starracingyamaha for all their help and making the surgery happen, the Cooper for always taking care of me and every single person that’s messaged me this last couple days. I am already working on my comeback!”

MICHAEL MOSIMAN – SHOULDER INJURY

Michael crashed at Hangtown at the start of the second 250 moto, he injured his shoulder severely enough to require surgery. The GasGas rider is out for the rest of the season.

PIERCE BROWN – BROKEN HAND

Pierce Brown broke his hand during training, so while it was healing, he had surgery on his meniscus in his knee to fix that injury as well. He recently started riding and we expect to see him back at the races again soon.

NATE THRASHER – HIP, COLLARBONE, ACL

Nate Thrasher Atlanta 2023 Supercross_-9990Nate Thrasher is out for the season. He sustained a cracked collarbone and dislocated hip during his crash at the Atlanta Supercross. Nate underwent successful surgery on the hip and another surgery on his knee to repair a torn ACL.

CHRISTIAN CRAIG – DISLOCATED HIP AND BROKEN/DISLOCATED ELBOW

Christian went down in the first practice session at Glendale through the whoops section dislocating both his hip and elbow. We most likely won’t see Christian back for the rest of the season as the swelling sustained from a dislocated hip can take a while. And while in the act of dislocating his elbow, he also fractured it too.

CAMERON MCADOO – DISLOCATED SHOULDER/TORN LABRUM

Cameron McAdoo 2023 Seattle Supercross-8610Cameron McAdoo sustained a dislocated shoulder while practicing before Glendale and he underwent surgery immediately to get it fixed. He will be out for most likely the rest of the season.

NICK ROMANO – KNEE

Nick Romano 2022 Fox Raceway National-9920Nick Romano will miss the entire 2023 season, both Supercross and motocross. Nick tore his ACL and meniscus in his knee and had surgery.

MALCOLM STEWART – KNEE

Malcolm Stewart 2023 San Diego Supercross-0338Malcolm Stewart crashed while practicing after the San Diego Supercross and he tore his ACL. Malcolm had surgery and is out for the foreseeable future, but Husqvarna renewed his contract for 2024-’25.

SETH HAMMAKER – WRIST

Seth Hammaker 2022 Washougal National-9282Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Seth Hammaker injured his wrist a week before the 250 East Coast series started. He is back riding and is looking to Red Bud to be his first race back.

AUSTIN FORKNER – KNEE

Austin Forkner 2023 Anaheim 1 Supercross-6849Austin Forkner injured his knee at the start of the 250 Main Event at Anaheim 1. He missed all of Supercross and, like Seth Hammaker, he recently started riding again. We are unsure when Austin will return to racing.
