250 MX OVERALL QUALIFYING RESULTS

By the time  second qualifying session kicked off, the track had shaped up drastically worse than the first session. While there wasn’t any big puddles on the track, the wombo combo of mulch, mud, woodchips, and dirt made a challenging track to ride one. So challenging that Levi Kitchen pulled over on the side of the track to remove several pounds of the soil off his helmet. In similar fashion to the first session, Haiden Deegan rode the quickest but Hunter Lawrence would best him this time around. With just over a minute remaining, Justin Cooper would be found laying on the side of the track rolling in pain. The Alpinestars medical crew ran over and it seems that had a laceration across his chest, ripping both his chest protector and jersey. EVentually Hunter Lawrence would set the fastest lap time in the second session but not quite as fast as Haiden’s first sessions lap time.

250 MX QUALIFYING 1 RESULTS

Qualifying kicked off with many of the regular faces leading the field in lap times. Jo Shimoda through down a heater just beating Hunter Lawrence for the lead. Rj Hampshire ran in third over a second behind both Hunter Lawrence and Jo Shimoda but a good surprise to see was Chance Hymas chasing behind in fourth place. Well, up until Justin Cooper slid into third bumping the Honda rider down. Jo Shimoda would have been the quickest rider in the first session, but with just a few seconds left, Haiden Deegan rose to the occasion setting the fastest lap time.
