MARTY SMITH GETS BUSTED BY L.A. POLICE CHIEF CHARLIE BECK

When Marty Smith recieves his Edison Dye Motocross Lifetime Achievement Award, at this year’s World Vet Championship on November 3-4, L.A. Police Chief Charlie Beck will be one of the presenters. Beck, a hardcore motocross racer, is a long-time fan of the Teen idol?Marty Smith. Additionally, Honda mechanic and team manager, Dave Arnold will be on hand and with him will be Marty’s 1975 championship-winning 125cc factory racer as well as the RC400 that Marty rode to the 1977 AMA 500 National Championship.
 
There will be a special Marty Smith display that will include photos and memorabilia related to Marty and an autograph session (including 100  limited-edition art posters, signed by Marty himself.
