HERLINGS SIGNS TWO-YEAR DEAL TO STAY AT KTM FOR THREE YEARS

Jeffrey Herlings has signed a two-year extension to his existing KTM contract (which runs through 2015). Thus, Herlings will be at KTM in 2015, 2016 and 2017. This puts an end to the rumors that Honda or any other manufacturer might lure Herlings away after his 2015 contract expires.

It is assumed that Herlings will only race the 250 class in 2015 and then move to the 450 class—where he will be the hand-picked successor to Antonio Cairoli. But one should never assume anything.
