KEN ROCZEN IN FOR HIGH POINT

KEN ROCZEN IN FOR HIGH POINT

Any addition to the ever diminishing 450 class is a bonus for us in the 2023 Pro Motocross season and who better to add than fan favorite and the face of Suzuki racing than Ken Roczen. Ken has been out for the majority of the Pro Motocross season as his prep for the World Supercross season has already commenced. However, the last time we spoke with him, racing outdoors wasn’t completely out of the cards. He mentioned that he would like to race some rounds during his prep for World Supercross and the statement is finally coming to fruition. Most likely the real reason that Ken is back for a small number of 450 Nationals is to pad his 304 Supercross points with some AMA National points to insure that he is in the top 20 to be eligible for the SuperMotocross playoffs.

Here’s a throwback to 2016 High Point with Kenny once again on a Suzuki.

We’re unbelievably stoked to see Kenny back out in the sun as watching Jett Lawrence ride a 30 minute sight lap has slightly diminished the excitement of racing.

We’re not setting any expectations for the Suzuki rider just yet as we’re honestly just glad to see the premier gain “plus one” this weekend. Speaking of plus ones, Phil Nicoletti will also be back on the saddle onboard a ClubMX 450. Hopefully as the season continues, we get to see the 450 class grow to what it used to be.
