If you never met Chuck “Feets” Minert during his 70 years racing career you miss one of the true American heroes. He raced his first racve in 1947 and kept right on racing until he was 83 years old. Chuck never missed a race, except for a stint in the Sea Bees during the Korea War. Even that time away didn’t slow him down and he return to his racing glory as soon as he was out of his uniform. Winning the biggest racing in America, Chuck took the time to go to Europe to hone his motocross skills. Those were evident as his cameo in Bruc Brown’s “On Any Sunday was memorable. No big name star has ever raced as many races or for as long as Feets Minert. He never wanted to quit.
