This is a timeless photo of Thorleif Hanssen on his Husqvarna at the Czech GP.
Note the “TH” on his helmet, quilted leathers, 5-buckle boots, thin-strap goggles, hand-painted numbers, socks over the boots, Akront shoulder rims and Bell 500 visor. Most Americans spell Thorleif’s first name as “Torleif” because that it what he had stenciled across his Hallman GP chest protector in the mid-1970s. Thorlief is actually the correct spelling.
