MXA’S RYAN VILLOPOTO YAMAHA YZ125 TWO-STROKE REPLICA BUILD VIDEO
Although the Yamaha YZ125 two-stroke hasn’t changed in years, we’re not going to stop building them anytime soon. 125 two-stroke-only classes have been growing in popularity at the races and the companies making aftermarket parts for this bike have continued to evolve as well. With the recent resurgence of two-stroke racing, more people are buying Yamaha YZ125s and they’re looking for ways to make them better. Ryan Villopoto has been seen racing a YZ125 at the Pro Motocross 125 All-Star events in 2018 and 2019 and we love to see it. Not only has the 125 All-Star series helped get Villopoto back on a bike and back to the races, but it also has encouraged Pro Circuit to develop some new parts for the YZ125. We had Mitch Payton give us the Ryan Villopoto special tune-up inside the engine and we used the new YZ125RV Works pipe too. We originally tested this bike before the Ryan Villopoto Works Pipe was available to the public, but now you can buy it on the Pro Circuit website for just $265. Click here to order the pipe and click below for the full magazine story on this bike.
