ROGER DECOSTER: THE 1982 HONDA LINE-UP

Old motocrossers never die, they just fade away. That may apply to lots of motocross stars, but it never happened to Roger DeCoster. The five-time 500cc World Motocross Champion was the greatest thing that ever happened to the sport. He took a rough and tumble sport that appealed to a small part of the world and made it known all around the planet. He was the perfect spokesman and the perfect rider for the time. No one who saw Roger ride, heard him speak or knew about his life would ever tie motocross in with the black leather jacket crowd (a la “The Wild Ones”). We present a smattering of Roger DeCoster videos, especially the three-part 2012 MXA series that cover a lot of ground.
