TWO-STROKE TUESDAY | 1989 MUGEN HONDA CR125
ERLEND JORDET’S MUGEN HONDA CR125 1989
“This bike was a total restoration project to start up with. All parts have been changed and several modifications have been done to make this bike look like the old Factory bikes from the late ’80s.
Total rebuild of the engine with a brand new NOS Mugen 1989 kit with Vforce reed system and carburetor modifications from VHS Tuning in Holland. To gain more power Scott Ferrar out of Australia provided a special spacer for the Atac chamber that gives more volume and horsepower.
Bormi parts in Italy have made a special Coke-bottle swingarm and vented gas tank in aluminum to get that final touch. The rear shock is from Ohlins in Sweden, pipe and silencer are from the Italian company Messico and Honda Racing ignition/clutch covers. And if that wasn’t enough, all bolts on the entire bike have been acid-treated to look like new again.
