The 2020 Yamaha YZ450F was all-new and it made a huge improvement over the previous 2019 model. We had high hopes that Yamaha would make updates to it again for 2021, but instead they decided to rest on their laurels and spend all their time and money on the all-new 2021 YZ250F. The 2020 YZ450F is still a good bike and we are happy to have a fresh one in our garage to compare with the updated KX450, FC450, 450SX-F, the all-new CRF450 and even the RM-Z450 (which we are guessing will be the same). In this video MXA’s Assistant Editor Josh Mosiman breaks down the details of the 2021 Yamaha YZ450F as we get one step closer to our MXA’s 2021 450 Shootout.
