2022 MOTOCROSS DES NATIONS // B FINAL RACE RESULTS

The weather conditions are rough in Buchanan, Michigan, as rain poured on the track creating challenging track conditions for the first racer of the day. The track crew had managed to save some parts of the track but that isn’t going to stop the ongoing rain. For the riders who were not able to qualify for the Main Events yesterday, they will have to qualify against all classes for the final spots. One rider who ran out of luck yesterday was Japan’s Jo Shimoda who will also have to compete against 450s on a 250. B FINAL RACE RESULTS

Anthony Rodriguez grabbed the holeshot for Team Venezuela but would throw it away half a lap later tipping over in front on the pack. Brodie Connonly would then get the lead for Team New Zealand. In third sat Ramy Alves with Arminas Jasikonis in fourth place. By the halfway point of the race, the riders became indistinguishable from the mud flying from the competition.

The race continued as each and every rider would make a mistake in the mud. Eventually, Connoly would make a mistake losing the lead to Lorenzo Locurcio of Team Venezuela. Lorenzo would win the first grueling race of the day.
