Round five of the 2019 AMA National Motocross Championship was held at the WW Ranch outside of Jacksonville, Florida, on a boiling hot day. Although Eli Tomac and Ken Roczen came in tied on points, Tomac left with the red plate for next week’s Southwick National. But, neither Roczen nor Tomac took the overall for the day win as KTM’s Marvin Musquin got the big trophy and bonus check with a 1-3 score. Meanwhile in the 250 class, Justin Cooper finally got the overall win he has be chasing since the start of the season. Adam Cianciarulo still holds the points lead and the red plate though.
