GO EAST YOUNG MAN! SHANE MCELRATH TO RACE THE BIG APPLE’S 450 CLASS

Ever since its founding the Troy Lee Designs team has focused on west coast Supercrosses only. That may change in 2016 and a sign of the possible shift in attention comes when 250 West rider Shane McElrath makes his premier 450 class debut at the New York Supercross on April 25. Shane McElrath is currently 5th in 250 West points.

 

 

GLEN HELEN NATIONAL PREP: ONE STEP AT A TIME

The old Log Cabin Jump and tunnel is being replaced by a double-wide tunnel combo. These tunnels are 8-feet tall. Concrete floors will be poured in them so they will be easier for fans to walk through. The old cypress logs will be brought back in memory of the late Dan Moore.

Leading up this weekend’s World Two-Stroke Championship race on Saturday, the Talladega first turn has been rebuilt. We promise you that it is steep and will get even bigger before the National. It’s not only tall, but it’s wide. Just for comparison, the Glen Helen letters are 8 feet tall.
