2019 AMA PRO MOTOCROSS 450 NATIONAL OVERALL RESULTS FROM REDBUD

The seventh round of twelve of the AMA Pro motocross series was held in Buchanan, Michigan at the famous RedBud MX track. Heading into RedBud Eli Tomac had more than a full race race points lead (26 points) over the factory KTM rider Marvin Musquin. Here is how the 450 motos went down at the RedBud motocross track.

450 OVERALL RACE RESULTS 

Marvin Musquin won the second moto but his 7-1 finishes weren’t good enough to beat Tomac’s 1-2 results. 

Blake Baggett got the 450 moto 2 holeshot with Justin Bogle in second and Marvin Musquin third, but Ken Roczen moved into second very quickly and moved up to the leader Baggett quickly. Roczen made the pass by the end of the opening lap. On lap two Musquin got by Baggett with Anderson, Webb and Tomac closing the gap. Anderson made the move on Baggett on lap three with Tomac getting by Webb for fifth. Tomac and Webb made their way by Baggett the next lap. Musquin eventually got around Roczen for the lead. After an intense battle Eli Tomac got around Anderson for third. Within the next few laps Tomac closed the gap between himself and Roczen with Tomac making his way by for second leaving Musquin to take the second moto win.

450 MOTO 1 RACE RESULTS

Eli Tomac won the first 450 moto in RedBud. 

Cooper Webb ran the wide line and captured the moto 1 450 hole shot at RedBud. Justin Bogle got by Webb in the first few corners of the first lap. Eli Tomac ran third and Marvin Musquin had a hard opening lap crash as the bike was stuck underneath him but he was uninjured. On the forth lap Tomac make his way past Webb for second with Bogle still in the lead and Jason Anderson in forth. Tomac made his way past Bogle for the lead and Anderson was right on Webb for third. Cooper stalled his KTM and Anderson got by for third. On the fifth lap Justin Barcia‘s YZ450F blew up while Joey Savatgy pulled in with bike issues. Jason Anderson made his way into second place past Bogle on lap seven with Webb passing Bogle as well. Ken Roczen made his way up to fifth by passing Blake Baggett on the ninth lap. On the tenth lap Musquin made his way from last up to tenth. On lap 14 while Roczen was trying to pass Bogle for 4th Roczen seemed to have some issues and slowed down and faded back to sixth. Tomac won the first moto by six second over Anderson.
