2019 LIVE 250 MOTOCROSS RACE RESULTS FROM HANGTOWN OUTDOOR NATIONAL

Round 1 of the AMA outdoor National series in Hangtown. 

The 250 class coming into the first round in Hangtown is always an interesting one. Riders start to figure out where they belong, their strengths and weaknesses. Qualifying early Saturday morning was interesting as the Pro Circuit rider of Garrett Marchbanks was on top of the pole from a fast lap in the first session. In the second session the track got rougher and ruttier and Dylan Ferrandis top the second 250 qualifying session. We know Adam Cianciarulo is looking for blood this outdoor season as he throw away his 2018 Supercross championship at the last round of the series. Here is how the 250 class shaped up at Hangtown.

250 MOTO 2 HANGTOWN RESULTS

Adam Cianciarulo won in dominating fashion.  

Adam Cianciarulo got the early lead in the mud. Colt Nichols, Michael Mosman and Chase Sexton had a battle behind him but them Mosiman and Chase came together and Mosiman went down. First moto winner Justin Cooper sat  sixth on the opening laps. Alex Martin was on fire early on and moved up to third. Dylan Ferrandis climbed up in results slowly and sat 4th by lap four.  Martin Davalos had a bad crash falling from the top five to close to last. On the seventh lap Nichols ran into a lapper and Martin and Ferrandis made their way around him for second and third. By this time Adam pulled a 17 second lead over Martin. On lap nine Nichols made his way past Ferrandis. With ten minutes left to go Martin ditched his goggles and Nichols started to press him. Adam went on to win with a commanding lead with Martin and Nichols in tow.

250 MOTO 1 HANGTOWN RESULTS 

Justin Cooper looked super strong in the first 250 outdoor National of the 2019 season. 

Justin Cooper lead the first 250 moto start to finish with Adam Cianciarulo in tow. Adam tried to put a change on Cooper but Cooper pace was too fast. Dylan Ferrandis came on strong half way through the race  and with only one corner left he made the pass on the Honda Geico rider of Chase Sexton for third.
