450 QUALIFYING RESULTS // 2024 FOXBOROUGH SUPERCROSS

450 Qualifying is here for the 2024 Foxborough Supercross. Cooper Webb is only eight points behind Jett Lawrence heading into the evening and is looking to make up more valuable points today. When we raced last in St. Louis we saw some life out of Eli Tomac who is not in the hunt for the championship but can get between Lawrence and Webb potentially allowing them to gain or lose extra points between each other. Ken Roczen has been strong all season as well and is looking to take home a second win of the year. And of course, Chase Sexton is still in championship contention and will do whatever it takes to grab the win. For all qualifying updates be sure to read below.

Justin Cooper has been a fast qualifier all year long and is looking to put it all together in the night show.

Off the practice start in the second session was Cooper Webb who rocketed out of the gate and started putting in his fast laps early. Webb looks as if he wants to make a statement in this second session as he is using new lines to get around the track and looking very motivated. However, Eli Tomac was able to put in an incredible lap and he instantly rose to the top of the leaderboard. This wasn’t the only quick time that came in as the Yamaha riders of Justin Cooper, Eli Tomac, and Cooper Webb all started to transition the lead from each other. But in the usual fashion, Jett Lawrence was able to best all of them and grab the top spot. But Webb and Tomac would not be outdone and they too were able to drop a second off their time putting Webb at the top and Tomac in second late in the session.

Though not the fastest in qualifying Ken Roczen seems to be enjoying the track and looking to improve in tonight’s racing.

450 QUALIFYING RESULTS SESSION 1 GROUP A

Chase Sexton struggled early in qualifying and is looking to make up some time in the second session.

Getting out in front of the pack early was Cooper Webb who had a clear track and was quickly the fastest early in the session. Webb instantly started looking for race lines and areas where he could capitalize on the other riders. Webb’s quick time would be overcome however as Eli Tomac was able to get a quick time in moving himself into the lead, and also Jett Lawrence who is usually slow to start in qualifying moved into second. Jett Lawrence usually takes some time to get to know the track and is usually the fastest in the last laps of the session. Around mid-way through Cooper Webb showed that he was not finished and put in a time about half a second faster than Eli Tomac placing himself on top. The top three riders then started exchanging the lead ultimately with Jett Lawrence coming out the quickest he would hold the top spot through the conclusion of the session.
